St Michaels Sailing Scow

THE BAY'S ODDEST ONE-DESIGN By Craig O'Donnell.
This boat is 12 feet long, and it caught my eye the first time I saw it in the Small Craft Building at CBMM. Although it's pictured in A Heritage in Wood the plans (on two sheets of typing paper) were hiding in the Library files. So I got a copy of the plans and built a model 1/3 real size. Next I'd like to build one full-size, using plywood. Since I'd be the entire one-design fleet at that point, I'd change the sail plan to a sprit-boom with club and use a leeboard so that there is sprawling space in the cockpit.   And there you have it.
